The currency in London is the pound sterling
and exchange is readily available in your hotel or local banks
especially for dollars and euro.
As in any major city, take care of your belongings and don’t
leave them out of your sight. For security reasons, the police
in London are particularly sensitive about
unattended bags, etc so hold on to your belongings even when
sightseeing.
London is one of the most popular tourist destinations in
the world and it is well equipped to cater for all tourist
needs. The Tourist or Travel Information
offices have a wide range of free literature, information
on events that are happening and so on. For leaflets, maps,
